An AI agent DMS is a dealer management system where the AI is part of the system itself. It's an agent with direct, governed access to the store's data. It reads the same inventory, deals, customers, and accounts your team works in, and it acts on them under rules the dealer sets. That's the whole difference between an agent and the "AI" most dealer software advertises.
Most AI in dealer software is a chat window bolted onto the side. It can answer general questions and hand off a lead, but it can't see your store: it doesn't know what a car cost you, where a deal stands, or which account slipped last week.
